Giving Back
The rescue dogs, the abandoned, the left behind…These dogs are close to my heart, and I use the gift of photography to support our local organizations who care for them.
The ways Slobbery Dog Photography gives back...

Each year I offer locals the opportunity to have their dog feature in a fundraising calendar. From these calendar photoshoots, four rescues last year raised close to $25,000
This year the goal is to raise $100,000 for six rescues!
Scroll down the page to learn how to get involved!Additionally, Slobbery Dog photographs holiday mini sessions to collect needed items for local rescue.
Throughout the year I also host sporadic fundraising events like the Treat Catching Olympics, so keep an eye out on our email newsletters and social media pages for future events!

Slobbery Dog also has an ongoing contribution to local rescues through my Senior-For-Senior Program.
In lieu of the session fee, parents of senior dogs donate $250 or more to support a senior dog or a long timer at a rescue or shelter here in the Lehigh Valley.

My spare time is spent volunteering at local shelters and rescues, mostly photographing their adoption profile photos. These photographs have proven to help dogs find forever homes faster which is why I continue to proudly help this way.
It’s also through this volunteer work that I have had extensive experience working with shy and nervous dogs which has now enabled me to became confident photographing all dogs no matter their size, breed, history or personality.

Slobbery Dog Calendars
Date: all year
At the end of each year, I create the Slobbery Dog calendar with all current year’s clients doggo portraits. We have fun voting for the cover winner with all the dogs having their own month. The full profit of the sales goes to one rescue. In 2021, Brindle Buddies & Friends received a check for over $1,800.
Book your private session for your furry BFF and let’s make them shine for the 2023 Slobbery Dog Calendar Fundraiser.

Holiday Fundraiser Mini Sessions
Date: October 30th and November 5th
These are the super popular Christmas and Holiday minis. Each year, a rescue receives item donations (on their “we need these” list) gathered through these minis. Slobbery Dog clients bring $100 worth of items to their mini. At the end, all donations go to the rescue. Last year, we supported Mostly Muttz.
The Slobbery Dog Newsletter will announce when the booking link will open for these sessions. These are open to dogs or dogs with their families.

How your senior dog can help others
Senior-For-Senior program
As seen in LV Style
The senior dogs, especially, are always on my mind as are those who are called the long timers. Donations and sponsorships for those dogs in particular are crucial. That’s how the Senior-For-Senior Program came about.
If you have a senior dog at home (age 8 and above), I would love to photograph him or her as a gift to you and your family. Especially with the printed products, either the art for your walls or the album for your coffee table, these portraits will showcase your senior dogs gorgeous grey and their soulful eyes.
In lieu of the session fee, I ask that you donate the $250 or more to support a senior dog or a long timer at a rescue or shelter here in the Lehigh Valley.
Snuggly Senior Love
“We love Slobbery Dog Pet Portraits! Maggie photographed our engagement and wedding, and we fell in love with her work then! When we saw that Maggie was doing pet photography, we couldn't wait to have her photograph our sweet senior lab Brady. She was patient and loving with him.
Maggie's absolute passion and heart for animals clearly shows in her demeanor and her portraits.”
